so true. i got to ride it the other day at the alpine djs and it rips. awesome feeling bike
09 flatline has 8.5 inches of travel with a 9.5 x 3.0 shock. if 8.5 inches isn't considered much travel, I would love to hear about your bike.
he did. he flip whipped the kicker after the first drop, which he trucked. honestly, I thought both semenuk and bass deserved higher scores. they had the best complete runs in my opinion.
I think the course looks so rad. Unique obstacles will make for such a rad comp.
And I disagree that this course is small. I rode the boneyard last year and very, very few people hit all the obstacles. This stuff is way gnarlier in real life. For example, the giro box is like what, a 12-15 foot drop? And they are going to be doing threes and whips off it consistently. Sure its not a 40' rampage stepdown, but slopestyle is meant for tricks not just sending.
its kind of pathetic how everyone rips on a bike for keeping a similar form over time. for some reason you all think that there should be drastic frame changes every year. konas ride really well. i have owned bikes from spec, iron horse, banshee, kona, rocky mountain, santa cruz and I think my kona rode as well as anything else.
moral: chill out and go ride
kona rocks. keeping it simple and clean. i honestly think their bikes ride as well as anything out there. i have owned spec, iron horse, banshee, kona, rocky mountain, santa cruz and i still think my kona rode as well as anything else i have owned.
Martin Söderström's finals run was amazing. can't wait to see what he does at crankworx. rad style and super dialed tricks About Us
